DLC controller

EZCAD3 and EZCAD2 are not compatible because a different controller is used to control the machine. This DLC controller has more features than the controller used in combination with EZCAD2, which is the reason for the higher price. Think of the greater available computing power and the possibility to directly control an Ethernet port.

The DLC controller always comes with the option to control 4 axes. This controller is available in the following versions:

2D with possibility to control 2 galvo scanners
3D with the option to control 2 or 4 galvo scanners (for 3D laser engraving)

MetaQuip's advice regarding EZCAD3

For professional use and for companies, MetaQuip recommends EzCAD3. For more hobby or incidental fiber laser use, EZCAD2 can also be used. EZCAD3 is a somewhat more expensive solution due to the DLC controller used. In addition to 2D and 2.D applications, this is also available in a version for 3D applications. A large part of the MetaQuip fiber engraving laser machines can be equipped with the EZCAD3 laser controller and software.
