Laser engraving and laser cutting at home with the MetaQuip Lite model. This machine is ideal for hobbyists, schools or fablabs. Since the end of January we have completely renewed the LITE: the LITE2. The LITE2 is better, faster and more complete. Here is a short introduction of the new LITE2.

Laser safety

We take laser safety seriously. All our machines use approved interlock switches and are fully tested for laser safety and radiation. This kind of machines and the used laser powers are not toys. Safety for everything, especially if these machines are used in schools or at home.

Available in 40W and 60W versions

The Lite model is available in both 40W mainly for laser engraving and also in a heavier 60W version that can also be cut. Wood up to 4-5mm and also plastics such as Plexiglas.

Motorized bed height setting

The bed height at the LITE2 can be adjusted at the touch of a button. The entire bed can go up and down a few centimeters. This is useful when changing material thickness.

Laserworks software

MetaQuip uses the Laserworks software and controller in its entire product range in the Lite. The advantage of Laserworks is that it is very easy to learn and very robust also works with newer PCs. Importing a large number of formats goes without problems. This is the same controller as used in the production series.

Robust and stiffer frame

The frame and the guides of the LITE2 have been completely renewed. This creates a stiffer, more robust solution that makes the optical light path easier to adjust. This adjustment also has to be done again less often due to this greater stiffness.

Higher speed with laser engraving and laser cutting

Due to the greater stiffness we have also been able to increase the engraving and cutting speed. This allows you to work faster. With the work surface of 40 x 40 cm you can edit small to medium objects quickly and with high precision.

Completely delivered

The LITE2 has a red point laser, so you can see in advance where the laser is laser engraving or laser cutting. Super handy and not available in the old Lite. This CO2 laser machine is supplied with honeycomb bed so that you can also better support small workpieces and lay flexible materials such as textiles nicely. This machine is supplied with industrial water cooler, air compressor to keep mirrors and lenses actively clean and laser software.
