What are the advantages of laser engraving of metals?
Marking metal with the laser is a very accurate and clean way of working with metal. Marking serial numbers, codes and logos can be applied to products and components in the maximum resolution. Marking and engraving metal with the laser is contactless; the metal surface is therefore not damaged.
In which areas is laser marking of metals often used?
Typical fields of application for laser marking of metals are: labeling products, coding in the electronic industry (mobile phones, iPad - mostly eloxal marking), manufacturing tools and in medical technology. Tempering (see below) is a particularly suitable process that ensures a marker without rough edges.

Laser cutting of metal
With high power fiber lasers, laser cutting of metal is also possible. These are machines with increasing capacity to cut through extremely thick metal sheets in this way.
