Combi CO2 metal laser cutter – cutting metal & organic material
€27.745,00 – €31.245,00
The Combi CO2 metal laser cutter is a high power CO2 laser machine. With this machine you can cut through thin carbon steel sheet material (up to 1.5mm, 200W) and stainless steel sheet material (up to 1.0, 200W), but it can also be used for laser cutting of organic materials such as wood, leather, cardboard and plastics such as acrylic. MetaQuip is one of the few suppliers that uses a double single laser tube system, which makes this laser tube much more stable and has a longer lifespan than many other high-power CO2 laser sources.
- Laser cutting of thin metals such as carbon steel (< 1.5mm) and stainless steel (<1.5mm) and organic materials such as wood, leather, textiles and plastics
- Easy to operate
- Auto focus: laser head follows the material with an autofocus Z-axis sensor
- Work surface: 1300 x 900mm
- Laser power: 200W and 250W (higher on request)
Delivered, installed and including basic training from 450 EURO.
Description
Combi CO2 metal laser cutter – cutting thin metal & organic materials
With the MQ FC1390C combi CO2 metal laser cutter you can cut both thin carbon steel (up to 1.5mm, 200W) and stainless steel (up to 1.0, 200W), but also for organic materials such as wood, leather and some plastics such as acrylic. Thin carbon steel and stainless steel sheets are widely used for making housings, tools, hardware, machines, automotive and signs for advertising.
High power CO2 laser sources up to 350W laser power
CO2 glass tubes can normally deliver up to 150W of power. Laser tubes up to 150W are thermally very stable and have a good service life. Above 150W, many suppliers use a glass tube in which 2 laser tubes are combined. These tubes are less stable and have many lifespan problems, as a result of which several brands no longer carry them as standard. MetaQuip uses a technique for its combi CO2 metal laser cutter in which the laser source consists of two separate laser tubes. These are combined into a stable laser beam. This combined laser source is slightly more expensive initially, but much more stable in use, requires less maintenance and allows to realize laser sources with a power of 200W to 350W sources. MetaQuip offers the 200 and 250W solution as standard, if you need more power, please contact us.
Difference metal cutting with fiber laser and CO2 combi metal laser cutter
The advantage of a combi CO2 metal laser cutter is that you can cut thin metals as well as organic materials such as plastic and wood with the same machine. This does require some adjustment.
Metals that can be cut are thinner because power from a CO2 source is generally lower than from fiber lasers. With the right settings, the cutting edge with the combi CO2 machine can also be obtained correctly, but the setting is a bit more critical. If you are purely looking for a machine to cut metals, MetaQuip recommends a fiber laser metal cutting machine.

Given the dimensions of these machines, we do not have them all in stock ourselves. We do have comparable machines or in a number of cases can demonstrate the machine on location at our customers.
Laser Safety and CE certification
MetaQuip closed CO2 laser machines comply with laser class 1. This is measured and recorded in measurement reports drawn up by an independent laser safety authority. This means that closed CO2 machines can always be used safely without extra protection as with class 4 machines. A large number of devices on the market do not meet CE or laser safety requirements in any way and are therefore by definition unsafe. FDA and ISO certification do not apply to the safety of your laser machine. You risk exposing your operator or a bystander to harmful laser light, resulting in serious burns or blindness.
Delivery & Installation
If this machine is not in stock, the delivery time is normally between 8-12 weeks. Inquire about the current stock. Faster is possible at additional costs. This machine can be picked up (free) or delivered for a flat rate, installed on site and you will receive basic training on how to operate the machine.
Guarantee
2 years on the machine excluding mirrors, lens, laser tube, and external accessories such as air fan and air compressor.
