The fiber laser metal engraving machine LITE is MetaQuip's open basic model for engraving metals, aluminum, mirrors and a number of plastics. Fiber laser engraving machines are used for laser engraving and laser marking of metal parts, jewelry, watches, mobile phones and so on. Think of placing part number, type number, logo, image, barcode or QR code.
Small but solid
The fiber laser metal engraving machine LITE has the same long life and reliability as MetaQuip's other fiber laser engraving machines. This small fiber laser machine is easy to place on a table or desk and makes little noise.
The MetaQuip fiber laser metal engraving machine LITE is a Open fiber laser (laser class 4) where the wearing of approved laser safety glasses is mandatory.

High Speed – Permanent Engraving
Engravings with fiber lasers are usually placed within seconds and are permanent: resistant to chemicals and remain legible even under mechanical stress.
High resolution and precision
The used 1064nm wavelength creates an extremely small laser spot that makes it possible to apply engravings and markings with high resolution. The wavelength of 1064nm is 10x smaller than the 10.6um of a CO2 laser. As a result, a fiber laser has a much smaller spot size than a CO2 laser, so that even the finest details can be engraved effortlessly with extremely high precision and resolution.

Features of the LITE Fiber Laser Metal Engraving Machine
Operation
The MetaQuip fiber laser LITE consists of:
- Control box that also houses the laser source.
- Optical fiber with which the laser source is connected to the fiber laser head.
- Tripod with the laser head placed on it. With this tripod the correct focus length can be set (the distance between the lens and the workpiece).
- The entire machine is controlled by a computer on which the laser software is installed. We can also optionally supply this computer.
The laser head contains an XY mirror that scans the surface at a high frequency. This XY mirror is completely closed off from the outside world and is the only moving part in this machine. This guarantees the high reliability and long life of this machine. More about fiber lasers on wiki

MetaQuip fiber lasers are easy to operate and control with the supplied laser software. With this software it is child's play to quickly engrave your workpiece.
With this software you can make your own design, enter text or import a vector design (logo) from other design packages such as Solidworks, Adobe Illustrator or other (vector) design programs.
The software supports importing of graphic image formats such as Coreldraw, AutoCAD, Photoshop and AI, PLT, PCX, DXF, BMP, SHX or TTF.
A Dutch manual is supplied with the laser software.

Industrial air filter
When working with fiber lasers, depending on the material to be engraved, toxic gases and small (metal) dust particles may be released. It is important for health not to inhale these! MetaQuip therefore supplies all its fiber laser engraving and marking machines including industrial air extraction. In addition to preventing possible health problems, the extraction also prevents these (electrically conductive) dust particles from contaminating your fiber laser, which extends the life of the machine.
Maintenance free
Fiber laser engraving and marking machines are virtually maintenance-free. In combination with the long service life and high engraving speed, these types of machines are extremely suitable for use in almost any working environment.

Open fiber laser machines, such as those on the Fiber Laser Metal Engraving Machine – LITE, are laser class 4 laser devices. This basically means that the operator and everyone in the same room is exposed to high power laser light. Extra protective measures must be taken for this, such as mandatory wearing of certified laser safety glasses to protect the eyes. MetaQuip only supplies laser safety glasses from renowned brands that meet European safety standards in all areas.

However, this does not exclude that nobody can be exposed to laser light. To this end, additional laser safety measures must also be taken for the environment in which the open fiber laser is placed. Open fiber lasers by definition do not comply with the CE machine guidelines without these extra safety measures! MetaQuip can advise and support you in the implementation of necessary additional laser safety measures.

This machine can be picked up (free of charge) or will be delivered for a fixed fee, installed on site and you will receive basic training on how to work with the machine.
