Laser engraving of natural stone, marble or other (hard) stone types is easy to do with sufficient laser power. Every logo, image or pattern can easily be engraved in the stone. Because it really is in the stone, it is extremely durable.

Roadmap

Make your digital design and place the stone (carefully!) Under the laser, then start the laser process, this takes some time (20-45 minutes depending on the size of the engraving) and then you can use the stone. It is important to work with stones with a flat top so that the laser always stays in focus. The engraving is really in the top layer of the stone, so it remains visible forever and does not wear when using hard stone.

In this case, a CO2 laser used from the production series with a lot of power. The MQ1590 130W to be precise. During this process a lot of rock dust is released so it is advisable to clean the machine afterwards!
