UV lasers for plastic laser engraving

With a MetaQuip UV laser you can laser engrave plastic. Products are provided with razor-sharp, permanent and high speed serial numbers, logos, text barcodes, or EAN codes. With CO2 or fiber lasers it often happens (for example with ABS) that the engraving becomes spotty, not suitable for end products. With UV lasers this is not the case and the engraving is usually of high quality and resolution. The final color is determined by the type of plastic and the filler used.

Permanent Marks

Due to the lack of infrared, UV lasers reduce heating and fusing, resulting in a much tighter edge and engraving. The advantage is that this engraving can no longer be removed afterwards. A tampon printing will be affected by the acids of the human body over time. This is not the case with a laser engraved surface. The software makes it very easy to realize automatic renumbering or a unique serial number per product. This type of machines can also be fully integrated into a production line.
